Useful Tips To Help Reduce Acne

Acne or acne vulgaris is a common skin condition that affects teens and adults alike, resulting in either small to even large bumps on the face. The cause of acne is mainly and usually hormonal. In the case of acne, there are many ways to help reduce the amount and appearance of acne. Therefore, maintaining good skin health, avoiding makeup, washing your face before bed, and checking for hormonal imbalances is essential. Here are a few tips to help you out on your skincare journey.

Aloe vera

Simply peel an aloe vera leaf from the plant, or you can find them in your local grocery, and apply it to the acne pores in the morning before you start your day. Make sure your skin is always clean before applying. Use it before bed as well.

Tea tree oil

Tea tree oil is a well-known natural treatment for acne. To use, you need to reduce the amount of tea tree oil first with other carrier oils such as argan or jojoba. Use a cotton ball to soak the formula, and spread the solution over the problem areas.

Benzoyl peroxide

This is available over the counter and offers amazing results for reducing acne if used consistently. Spot application on acne is advised at night as well for extra strength.

Green tea:

To make a solution of green tea, bring 1/2 cup of water to the gut. Remove from heat and add green teabag tea. Let the leaves rise for five minutes. Carefully remove the teabag, squeeze, and reuse. Allow the concentrated tea to cool and can be stored for up to three days refrigerated and concealed. To use it, moisten a cotton ball with tea and pull it on your face. It will also reduce inflammation.
